Mark

Taxi driver Mark likes to stop with his taxi in front of the Living Lab in Rotterdam to wait for his passengers. According to Mark, the most beautiful neighbourhood in Rotterdam South is Heijplaat. There’s so much to see there! 

From August 2021 to January 2022, a group of students worked on a concept for Hart van Zuid with a focus on leisure. They did this from and around our lab located on Zuidplein. While they were working, they discovered that they wanted to give something extra back to the community. They decided to go out on the streets and shoot beautiful portraits of entrepreneurs and residents of the neighbourhood. This portrait is one of the portraits from the series: ‘Local heroes from Hart van Zuid’.
